Brief Synopsis: Collection of short stories on the topics of race, culture, grief, guilt.
Thoughts: This is one of those books that hit me hard, but I have such difficulty trying to explain why it affected me. With each new story I got to experience America through a different lens--not only was every character so very different but each tale was unique and original, I truly had no idea what would come next and I loved that. These are the best type of stories: They make you rethink and question the world all while being thoroughly entertained.
