Thoughts: I enjoy TJR's writing style and loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones and the Six. To me, this story really is the perfect beach read--it was a quick and easy read (finished in about 1 day), the story was entertaining, but I really didn't think much about it once I finished. It was...just fine. I could sit by the pool and get lost for a bit, but it definitely wasn't anything I'd write home about.
