Brief Synopsis: A reckless decision as a teen leads to a devastating consequence that continues to haunt Kieran Elliot. Now as adult, he returns to his hometown to face his guilt but a new death will make this homecoming all the more complicated.
Thoughts:I was fortunate enough to have a blustery, winter day all to myself--a book nerd's dream! As the storm raged outside, I found myself also caught up in the intense weather of Tasmania and the drama surrounding a young girl's disappearance many years ago. Harper did not disappoint and I raced through this one within the day, which of course is not always a good thing as now I'm left with high expectations for the next book I pick up. A perfect rainy day read!
