Brief Synopsis: Virgil Wounded Horse delivers vigilante justice on the Rosebud Indian Reservation is South Dakota. When his nephew is framed for a crime, Virgil must uncover who is supplying the reservation with drugs, as well as keep his family safe.
Thoughts: I enjoyed Weiden's debut novel --I'm a sucker for a good vigilante story as I really like to know that people receive "justice" for their actions. Obviously, the setting was also a key part of this story and I appreciated learning about life on the reservation, as well as Virgil's back story and the difficulties he is facing. I believe Weiden's writing and story telling will only improve with time and look forward to his next release.
